ll peoples play and do it in very similar ways. However, not all languages can grasp the concept of game in a single word. The meaning of a general concept of game may have been incorporated into cultures at different times or in different ways. This may have led to the use of completely different words denoting various forms of play. The words play and game in English can be given as an example.

Game: In ancient Rome, ludus is the word that used for games. Ludus means “play, game, sport, training. Games are characterized by rules. They have system that includes mechanics, dynamics and components of game. Generally, games have storyline which make players feel presence in the game. Games expose complex, learnable systems around a set of symbols that users can engage with to achieve personal mastery and include the consequences of players’ actions that makes players feel failure.

Play: The word of play comes from Paidia which means childish play, amusement. Plays are more free compare with games. There are no strict rules. Rules are determined by players. In this way, plays are very helpful to improve players’ imaginations and creativity. All organisms learn something with plays. It is more cultural. It has a huge role on the formation of traditions. It is all about imagination of person, that is everything can be turn as a play.

Gamification: Gamification is the use of game design elements in non-game context. It motivates people to do their duties by using game mechanics. Gamification is all about engagement and improving user experience with a product or service. However, there is some misconceptions about gamification. People can think they make gamification by using only points-badges and leaderboards components. Gamification should design clearly like games. It should not be forgotten that gamification mechanics cannot alone influence the minds of player or users.
